On October 9, 2025, Newfoundland and Labrador conducted a new round under its Provincial Nominee Program, inviting 125 qualified candidates to apply for permanent residency in Canada. This draw included applicants from both the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
The draw focused on skilled individuals who hold valid job offers in key industries. Through regular draws like this, the province continues to welcome talented professionals who can help fill labour gaps and contribute to long-term economic growth.
In its latest Newfoundland and Labrador draw, the province invited a total of 125 candidates. Out of these, 73 invitations were issued under the NLPNP and 52 through the Atlantic Immigration Program.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program has remained active from April 2025, regularly inviting skilled candidates from around the world. The October draw marks the 11th selection round this year, showing the province’s steady immigration efforts and focus on attracting professionals across essential sectors.

So far, Newfoundland and Labrador has issued 2,946 invitations in 2025. Out of these, 2,198 were through the Provincial Nominee Program and 748 through the Atlantic Immigration Program, reinforcing the province’s goal of welcoming skilled professionals who can make meaningful contributions to the local economy.
The Provincial Nominee Program plays a major role in helping Newfoundland and Labrador attract and retain international talent. The initiative is tailored to bring in skilled professionals who can fill vacancies in healthcare, technology, construction, and other in-demand sectors.
By prioritizing candidates with relevant job offers, the program ensures that employers across the province gain access to a capable workforce. This not only strengthens local businesses but also supports regional development and population growth.
