Newfoundland and Labrador allows the province to nominate individuals who have the skills and job offers needed in Newfoundland and Labrador. Successful nominees and their families can apply for Canada PR.
Atlantic Immigration Program is an immigration program that helps designated employers in Atlantic Canada hire skilled international workers and international graduates. The permanent program emphasizes employer engagement, enhanced settlement supportt, and long-term retention.
To be considered for future Invitations to Apply (ITAs), applicants must submit an Expression of Interest through The Provincial Government Immigration Accelerator platform and must have a valid job offer from an eligible employer in this province. Employer invite codes are mandatory for most Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) applicants and NLPNP applicants applying from the outside Canada.
Once your an EOI is submitted, it remains valid in our system for 12 months after EOI submission. If your Expression of Interest is selected for an ITA, you, or your designated employer, will be notified via email from my side.
Invited candidates can now proceed with submitting a full application across two major immigration streams either the NLPNP or AIP, depending on their pathway. However, The Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism in Newfoundland and Labrador receiving an ITA does not guarantee approval; all applicants must meet program-specific criteria and submit complete documentation.
The province continues to review EOIs and issue ITAs throughout the year in alignment with its evolving labor market needs.
