What is the PSTQ in Quebec?

The Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ) is Quebec's most crucial pathway for attracting skilled professionals for PR. It is designed to recruit applicants whose experience and skills match the province’s labour market requirements.

Moreover, the PSTQ has four streams covering specialized and talented professionals, intermediate and manual workers, exceptional talent and regulated professions.

Additionally, candidates typically use Arrima, and, depending on their occupation, level of French ability, education, job experience, and residency in Quebec, they may receive an invitation.

Last but not least, selected applicants under the Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ) can now apply for permanent immigration to Quebec.

However, after receiving a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ), proceed with the federal permanent residence application process.

To improve their chances of receiving an invitation, candidates should stay updated with the latest PSTQ requirements and selection rounds. This can help them better understand the process and plan their pathway to permanent residence in Quebec.
