International graduates from the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI), Holland College, and Collège de l'Île were specifically prioritized in the invitations.

This makes the March 20 PEI PNP latest draw particularly significant for two candidate profiles:

• Priority Sector Workers: Candidates employed in PEI's key economic sectors, including healthcare, skilled trades, and manufacturing, with a valid, full-time job offer from a PEI-based employer, remain the primary targets of the Labour Impact stream. These occupations must fall under NOC skill levels 0, A, or B to qualify.

• PEI International Graduates: Candidates who have completed a program at UPEI, Holland College, or Collège de l'Île and are currently working or residing in Prince Edward Island PNP continue to receive strong preference, reflecting the province's commitment to retaining locally educated talent as permanent residents.

• PEI Express Entry Candidates: Those with an active Express Entry profile under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program, or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were also considered. A PEI nomination adds 600 points to a candidate's CRS score, effectively securing a subsequent federal ITA to apply for Canada PR.
