The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) has conducted its latest invitation round, attracting qualified applicants to apply for Canada PR. The PEI draw emphasised on applicants who can help address the province’s labour market requirements.
The PEI PNP has issued a total of 1,319 invitations so far. The province continues to use its immigration program to invite workers who can contribute to its economy.
On October 7th 2026, the latest PEI PNP draw was conducted and overall 90 applicants were invited under the Labour and Express Entry Stream.
Details about the PEI latest draw are given below:
PEI PNP has also listed October 15, 2026, November 19 and December 17, 2026, as the remaining anticipated Invitation to Apply (ITA) dates for 2026. However, these are planned dates and may change. The province does not guarantee that invitations will be issued on these dates.

The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) uses its Expression of Interest (EOI) system to choose and rank applicants based on their potential to satisfy the province labour market and economic requirements. An EOI profile is not an application and fulfilling the selection criteria does not automatically guarantee an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
PEI considers certain factors while choosing applicants:
Currently, Prince Edward Island PNP is prioritizing skilled professionals in higher demand industries such as childcare, healthcare, trades, and other key industries facing labour requirements. Applicants working in the sales and service sector might not get an invitation at this time.
The PEI Office of Immigration also mentioned that the frequency and number of invitations are managed as per the application volumes, provincial priorities, federal immigration allocations and processing capacity.
