Alberta Issues 1,258 Invitations Under AAIP Draws In July 2026

Alberta has conducted back-to-back draws rounds in July. The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) recently issued 1,258 invitations through eight draws held in July 2026, focusing on priority sectors such as  construction, agriculture, healthcare, law enforcement, technology, and rural settlement.

The Federal government has allocated 6,403 nomination spaces to Alberta for the current year. As of July 21, 2026, the province had already conducted 64 immigration draws, reflecting its ongoing efforts to attract skilled professionals to meet labour market requirements.

However, If you have been invited to these draws, you may send a copy of your invitation letter - along with the requested information to the  Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) within 2 weeks.

Alberta PNP Draws in July 2026

The latest Alberta PNP draws held in July saw invitations being issued to 1,258 candidates. The minimum score of the invited candidates ranged between 52 to 65 and above.

These draws reflect Alberta PNP ongoing commitment to inviting skilled workers matching with the province’s social and economic development.

What are the Different Types of Alberta PNP Streams?

The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program has a total of eight streams.

Streams for Workers

• Tourism and Hospitality Stream: A pathway for skilled professionals  working  in Alberta's tourism and hospitality sector. Eligible candidates must have a full-time job offer from an approved employer, work in an eligible occupation, and hold a valid LMIA-supported work permit while living  in Alberta. 
• Alberta Opportunity Stream: Designed for skilled immigrants working in Alberta who have a valid job offer and wish to become permanent residents. 
• Rural Renewal Stream: A pathway to permanent residence for professionals working with a valid job offer and community endorsement from a recognized  rural community in Alberta.
• Alberta Express Entry Streams: A pathway to permanent residence for eligible foreign workers with a valid Alberta job offer and an active Express Entry profile.

Streams for Entrepreneur

• Rural Entrepreneur Stream: A pathway for skilled entrepreneurs who wants to purchase or establish a business in a designated rural community in Alberta. 
• Graduate Entrepreneur Stream: A pathway for Alberta post- secondary graduates who wish to buy and start their own business and settle permanently in the province.
• Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream: A pathway for recent international graduates who want to establish a new business and build a future in Alberta.
• Farm Stream: Designed for experienced farmers with the skills, financial resources, and experience to establish and operate a farm in Alberta.
