Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) invites 200 Express entry candidates in the latest provincial draw to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR Visa.
Invited applicants must have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 301. The scoring threshold decreased by one point from the previous draw.
Express Entry candidates with a provincial nomination, automatically get 600 CRS points to their express entry profile. Once that happens, they are well on their way to being invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
The Alberta Express Entry stream is an enhanced PNP immigration stream, which means it is in line with the Express Entry pool of the federal government. The first step to being eligible for this program is to create a profile in the Express Entry system.
Candidates are required to have work experience in an eligible profession. AINP does not provide the list of eligible occupations; instead, they publish a list of ineligible occupations for the stream.
